Paris Internationale Milano 2026
Milan, Italy
For its first edition outside France, Paris Internationale takes place in Milan, hosted within Palazzo Galbani.
NM3, in collaboration with Christ & Gantenbein, designed the exhibition system for the fair, working within a distinctive example of Milanese modernism by the Soncini brothers with Giuseppe Pestalozza and engineer Pier Luigi Nervi.
Responding to the constraints of the space—defined by low ceilings and a structural system that does not allow anchoring—the project is based on a series of freestanding steel modules assembled into partition walls of varying lengths. The elements, lined with wooden panels and integrated lighting, define the exhibition layout while maintaining full reversibility.
Conceived as a demountable and reusable system, the intervention reflects a precise and adaptable approach, organizing the fair across multiple floors through a continuous spatial framework.
The layout accommodates 34 galleries in a non-hierarchical configuration, where circulation follows the geometry of the building, generating shifting perspectives and a more fluid visitor experience.
