CASA NM3: A modular domestic landscape
Milan, Italy

NM3 presents CASA NM3, an installation conceived for Salone del Mobile 2026 within the Fuorisalone, hosted in its space on Via Farini 93.

The project unfolds as a domestic landscape organized into a sequence of rooms—bedroom, living area, kitchen, and study—defined by a system of movable partitions that abstractly outline the architecture. This spatial approach references the work of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich, where temporary elements and soft surfaces define space without permanent divisions.

Within this environment, furnishings from the first collection are presented alongside new systems and configurations. NMS01, an evolution of NM25, is introduced as a mirror-finish stainless steel chest of drawers, conceived as a dry-assembled modular structure based on repeatable elements. NMS02, derived from NM26, is developed as a shelving system composed of vertical uprights and horizontal shelves, allowing linear compositions that extend across the space while maintaining structural continuity. NMS03 applies the same constructive logic to the kitchen, organized as a modular system that defines a continuous functional sequence.

Around these systems, a broader family of furniture—including tables, seating, and lighting—extends this language across different domestic uses.

Textiles and personal objects contribute to the definition of each environment while maintaining the overall clarity and continuity of the system.

CASA NM3 reflects on furniture as a silent infrastructure of living.
